Your hear legendary tails of epic being released in ones life time and of course this generation believed Star Wars was just that. But I must say that with all the talk, the realized hype and creative directing, visionary scripts; I have been bewitched by HARRY POTTER from the very first movie, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (known to the rest of the world as Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.) I say movie and not book because although I read all three volumes of Lord Of The Rings before I saw the first movie installment, I refused to read Harry Potter only because, well dare I say it, that is just for kids. How wrong was I.

And now several movies later, totally caught up in all of the "magicry" and the wizardry, I am hooked! I have all the books (still refuse to read them just yet), every movie on DVD and I still watch each installment as it comes on cable. J. K. Rowling has restored my faith in the power of imagination, in addition to my love for black cats. (notice no one in the magic world has a dog. I'm just saying...)

This last leg of the series is in two parts with the first release on November 19, 2010 and the second in July 2011. This is what I call an epic of generational proportion. The Harry Potter legacy is one that not even "Twilight" will replicate. You go J.K.! See you all on November 19!
