The day is not over and I have had some really great discoveries about running an effective yard sale, especially on the streets of New York.
Not all of my tips are in the video but these are some really good ones:
What I didn't include was this:
It doesn't hurt to have a yard sale on the same day as a large event. Remember, "New Yorkers" are constantly on the go so, large events are the perfect way to catch their attention. For example, set your yard sale up during q street fair or community block party. It keeps the mood festive and foot traffic passing all day.
