Being honest sometimes blows. Really it does. I know you all know have heard it, people tell you they want you to be honest with them and always tell them the truth. When really all that is wanted is an ear to complain. What if instead of complaining, we actually did something about the situation we are complaining about? What would our lives really look like then? Imagine...

When I think of John Lennon's song Imagine, I get where he was coming from. I have had some years to ponder this so here we go. If there was no hunger or strife, there would be no war, anger or negativity. But if we can't even imagine that, how do we expect to actually get it? All great inventions can out of imagination. You may if that's all there is, why don't we have flying cars or elevators that move sideways or telepathic powers? (yes, I'm going bezzaro but hang in there with me, I'm getting to it.) The answer is so simple it you need to sit down for this one.

Ready? Here it is - HUMANS DON'T TAKE ACTION. Now hold on, I know you may be taken a back a bit but just bear with me. I'll use myself as an example. How many times am I going to complain about not having the abs of steel I want before I actually get down on the floor and do the abs of steel work? Talking and imagining about it is just the beginning. Taking the necessary action steps toward what you want in life makes life worth living. It's what makes the adventure of living grand and full, abundant and audacious, joyful and jubilant. It is the jump out of the plane that makes skydiving fun, not the fall. When your heart is beating in your chest, racing at 3,000,000 beats per second and you can feel the throbbing sensation on the outside of your chest, the sweatiness of your palms, the dryness in your mouth you begin to realize how precious, fragile and delicate life truly is and then you jump. Done!

Most of us will never feel the full sensation of life. We will go about our day as regular, simple people living ordinary regular lives and be okay with what life handed us. We will continue to complain and live life through the veil of complaints, thus experiencing real pleasure, true bliss, is nonexistent. Then there are the rare few, who take the complaint and turn it into a miraculous dream - with action plan of course - hence going on to live a bountiful, robust, aromatic life. WOW!

As I wrap this up, I'm looking at my exercise mat and noting when on my schedule I'll take it out to give my mini keg an abs of steel workout. Until then, I double dog dare you to see the truth about your life now, take it on and go after your dreams. I believe you deserve it. Don't you?
